My details of sort. Did the local college thing like most everyone else (Mt. Sac, CSU Fullerton)and ended up with a computer degree. Then spent the next 20+ years working and living in O.C.. Finally, when I ended up working out of my home, I figured my home could pretty much be anywhere. So, I moved to Colorado and have been loving it. I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner.
As for the other stuff... was married, but not now, and no kids. Just a bunch of nieces and nephews. Am currently taking a break from working, so I spend my time hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, working on the fixer-upper I bought, and now chopping wood for winter, which seems to have come very early this year. Looking forward to seeing the old classmates again.

My greatest accomplishment is honest self-awareness and humble confidence. Knowing exactly who I am and what I like is the greatest gift in life - after that, everything is gravy.
In 1979 and 1980 I travelled through the Pacific Northwest and Canada with my then best friend/soul sistah, Kim Schnuelle and attended Mt. SAC Community College. I escaped from LA in 1982, first living in Santa Cruz then San Francisco where I graduated from San Francisco State Univ (BA Sociology). Though accepted to law school, I came to my senses before signing the admissions letter. Instead, I was a well paid litigation and trial paralegal for nearly 20 years. Continuing northward, I moved to Portland, OR in 1992 and lived happily ever after. My partner of 24 years is an instructor at Portland Community College where I also work, part time, in the Business Office. Other time, I am an author and writer - check out my bestselling book KEEP CHICKENS! on Amazon.com - and my regular column in the magazine, Urban Farm. More books due soon, so keep on Googling me!!

Investment Banking

Wow, how do I account for 30 years!?!?! Well, after graduation I continued my studies emphasizing in accounting and finance at a couple local campuses where I ran into a few you. I entered the very demanding and ever not forgiving field of investment banking very naive and at the tender age of 22, as an intern. I made many mistakes, learned a lot, and toughened up enough to find myself developing, negotiating and executing fixed income securities for global banks and Wall Street firms. I moved from H.H. to Huntington Beach and later to New York City. I had a blast traveling a lot domestically and abroad for both work and pleasure. I got married in a New York minute (personal inside joke). I had two lovely girls while living there, Krista and Candice now 15 and 13 years old. Oh my, teenagers already!!! I moved back to California just before 9/11 and after living 9 years in lower upstate New York and commuting to the City, I now live in Yorba Linda. Outside of the office, I manage our home, manage or coach softball teams; teach religion, and considering moving onto a new career field. I haven't decided doing what yet, but I'll take any suggestions given our struggling economy (no joke). How's that for a quick flash back?
On anther note, I promised Danette I would help "beat the bushes" and come up with more profiles for us all to enjoy. So my dear brother, Ernie, immediately comes to mind as does Abel, Araceli, Kathy, Ramona, Diana, Annette, hummm...Frances N., Toni N., Diane R. Roger Mora, etc... If you have decided not to attend the reunion, please consider updating a profile so your classmates can look for you around town. Hey, maybe you're my neighbor and I don't even know it.
I look forward to seeing you all soon!

For roughly ten years after high school I did acrylic nails. In 1992 I married my husband Dan and a year and a half later our beautiful twin girls, Danica and Delaney were born. I stayed at home for several years before attending college part time. I now teach 4th grade and love it! I also recently obtained a master's degree and continue to be very active in my girl's lives. I hope you all are well and happy!
